Terms of Use
Pantri is an AI-powered grocery app that builds a weekly grocery cart from a user's meal plan. Pantri is not yet available to the public. These terms apply to your use of this website and the Pantri waitlist (together, the "Services"). In these terms, "Pantri," "we," and "us" mean Pantri, and "you" means the person using the Services.
The short version: the waitlist is free, you must be an adult in the United States, please don't abuse the site, and we make no promises about when Pantri launches or what it will include. When the Pantri app launches, it will have its own terms.
1. Agreement to these terms
By using the Services or joining the waitlist, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.
2. The waitlist
Joining the waitlist signs you up for updates about Pantri. It is free. It does not guarantee access to the app, a launch date, or any particular features or pricing, all of which may change. Joining does not create a customer relationship or any obligation to buy anything. You can leave the waitlist at any time using the unsubscribe link in any email from us, or by emailing us.
3. Who can use the Services
You must be at least 18 years old and located in the United States, and you must have the legal capacity to agree to these terms. You must give us an email address that belongs to you.
4. Email
When you join, we email you a one-time verification code to confirm your address. By confirming, you agree that we may email you launch news and updates about Pantri. Every marketing email will include an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing stops them right away. We may still send messages you ask for, such as a verification code. You agree that notices and other communications from us may be delivered electronically, by email or on the Services, and that they satisfy any requirement that they be in writing.
5. Acceptable use
Please do not:
- submit an email address that is not yours or that you do not have permission to use;
- use bots, scripts, or other automated tools to sign up, or to collect data or email addresses from the Services;
- try to disrupt, overload, probe, or bypass the security of the Services;
- copy, decompile, or reverse engineer the Services' code, except where the law allows it;
- use the Services to harass, defraud, or harm anyone, or for any illegal purpose; or
- use the Services for any commercial purpose we have not approved.
6. Our content
The Pantri name, logo, designs, text, images, and code on this site belong to Pantri or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. You may view the site and print or share a page for personal, non-commercial use. Please do not copy, reuse, or sell our content or marks without our written permission. We reserve all rights not expressly given to you.
7. Feedback
The Services do not let you post or upload content. If you choose to send us a question, idea, or suggestion, you keep ownership of it, and you give us a free, worldwide, permanent license to use it, including to improve Pantri, without owing you credit or payment. Please do not send us confidential information.
8. Changes, interruptions, and ending access
We may change, pause, or end the Services or the waitlist at any time, and we cannot promise the site will always be available or error-free. We may also remove a waitlist entry or block access, including by IP address, if we believe someone is breaking these terms or abusing the Services. If we do, you may not rejoin under another name or email address.
9. Third parties
We use service providers to run the Services, as described in our Privacy Policy. If the site links to other websites, we do not control them and are not responsible for them.
10. Disclaimer
The Services are provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not promise that the Services will be uninterrupted, secure, or free of errors, or that the information on them is complete or current. Use of the Services is at your own risk.
11. Limit of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, Pantri and anyone working for it will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, or data, arising from your use of the Services, even if we were told they were possible. Our total liability to you for any claim related to the Services is limited to $100.
Some states do not allow certain limits on warranties or damages, so some of the limits above may not apply to you, and you may have additional rights.
12. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Before filing a claim, please email us at the address below and give us 30 days to try to resolve it informally. If we cannot, any claim will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Virginia, and you and we consent to their jurisdiction. Nothing here limits any right you have under the consumer protection laws of your state that cannot be waived.
13. General
These terms, together with our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy, are the entire agreement between you and us about the Services. If part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest stays in effect. If we do not enforce a provision, that does not waive it. We may transfer our rights and obligations, for example in a merger or sale, but you may not. We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control. No partnership, employment, or agency relationship is created by these terms.
14. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we will change the effective date above and, for material changes, may also tell you by email. If you keep using the Services after an update, you accept the new terms.
